Sports Pragademy

SPORT – COMMUNITY – MIND

Sport Pragademy is an international, multidisciplinary, and independently organized community of experienced researchers, experts, and coaches that supports the identification, recognition, and strengthening of community expertise and social impact in sports and civic activities. Sport Pragademy fills data-driven knowledge gaps and other areas that currently fall between different disciplines, fields of science, and sports. Instead of structures and factors, Sport Pragademy focuses on identifying real-life regularities and the communal and social mechanisms that maintain them in the field of sports and civic activities. This goal sets high scientific, methodological, and substantive standards for the project.

Sport Pragademy utilizes data-driven thinking, action research, and relational methodology to examine the interaction between key actors in the fields of sports and civic engagement as it is and to convey the picture obtained as authentically as possible to support decision-making and competence development. Another key aspect of Sport Pragademy’s activities is ensuring continuous interaction with the ‘self-motivated research subject.

Sport Pragademy offers its participants a unique research and study trip into the international world of sports and civic engagement. Instead of traditional researcher training, we prefer to talk about self-directed researcher and expert training, where learning by doing, gaining insight through experimentation, and reflection on action pave the way. Data-driven approaches, relational methodology, and peer learning provide sufficient security for this challenging journey.
